A set of three Victorian carved balloon-back side chairs — the iconic open-oval back crowned with a deeply carved leaf-and-scroll crest rail over a pierced foliate mid-splat. Padded upholstered seats rest on shaped front aprons with cabriole front legs and gently splayed rear legs.

Two chairs are upholstered in dark blue velvet, the third in a blue geometric-patterned fabric — an easy candidate for unifying reupholstery, or charming as a collected mix for hall, bedroom, or occasional seating.
