Antique Brass Center-Draft Banquet Lamp, Attributed to Plume & Atwood "Royal" c. 1890s — Custard Glass Shade, Electrified
A genuine antique center-draft kerosene banquet lamp, attributed to Plume & Atwood's "Royal" line, c. 1890–1905 — later electrified for modern use. The brass font and pedestal carry a decorative embossed white-metal band, crowned by a ribbed yellow custard/opaline glass dome shade that glows warmly when lit.
P&A of Waterbury, Connecticut was among America's premier lamp makers, and this form — center-draft font, pierced band, ribbed opaline shade — closely matches documented Royal No. 1 examples of the 1890s.
